Omar has hundreds of credits to his name including the motion pictures The Italian Job, Four Brothers, Jackass 3D, and Water for Elephants.
His greatest accomplishment is the role Uggie played on the Academy Award-winning film The Artist, receiving several awards worldwide. Omar's dog Uggie was the first dog to have his paw prints set into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Omar has worked hand-in-hand with most of the studio animal companies in the USA. Many of Omar's dog actors, including talented Uggie are rescue dogs, previously abandoned by their owners.

The Masterclasses are designed for handlers with at least some experience in dog training who are serious and motivated to work with their dogs to achieve top results.

Masterclass 1: Build up your dog's motivation and drive
Having a truly engaged and highly motivated dog makes a world of a difference to the success of any training or performance.
In the first Masterclass, Omar will show you how you can make your dog engaged and highly motivated to work with you to achieve top results.
The session will provide you with a clear structured path from choosing the best motivation for your dog to building it up to develop a reliably enthusiastic canine partner. The session will then progress to the particular motivational challenges faced by those who compete seriously and perform with their dogs, providing practical solutions.
Omar's dogs learn to perform enthusiastically and reliably in the unfamiliar, noisy and hectic environment of a film set with lights, sounds, other animals, distractions etc. They love their work and look forward to it. Learn from Omar how you can achieve the same with your dog.

Masterclass 2: Building focus for high end competing dogs
A strong focus of the dog on the handler is fundamental to the success of any high performing team.
What sets apart all reliably performing top teams is the sharp focus of the dog on the handler even before they enter the ring.
A dog which remains focused on the handler can work reliably and consistently in any environment whatever the distractions.
In this Masterclass, Omar will teach you how you can achieve sharp and consistent focus from your dog.
We also will be covering other key ingredients of ensuring reliable and consistent performance from your dog.
This Masterclass would be of particular interest to those who compete or would like to take part in high-end competitions with their dogs.

Masterclass 2 will cover:
- Why focus is the essence of success particularly for the top-level competitors
- How to develop and build up your dog's focus on you
- How to keep your dog's focus on you even in unfamiliar environments with lots of distractions

Masterclass 3: Build your dog's confidence
This Masterclass will focus on developing confidence in your dog.
This is applicable to all dogs, but particularly to those who compete or aim to compete at a high level.
​
Confidence is also a fundamental step in any dog training, as well as the key step for the rehabilitation of rescue dogs and any dogs with anxieties.
Canine athletes, dog actors, performing dogs, stunt dogs, Parkour dogs and other top competition dogs require a particularly large degree of confidence, well beyond the level of confidence typically sufficient for pet dogs.

In the second, practical part of this session, Omar will focus specifically on using the approaches for building up the confidence which we've discussed in part 1 to your dog's jumping.
Jumping without hesitation requires a lot of confidence from the dog.

This is true for dog actors, performing trick dogs, dogs competing in heel work to music, dancing, working dogs, etc.

Using marks is one of the most effective and commonly used approaches to achieving precise distance work.
Omar will share with you his approach to training with marks and a variety of cases where you can use them with your dog.
